Who we are
TenderAtlas is run by Rooplex Ltd, company number 16986386, registered at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Rooplex Ltd is the data controller for everything described here, and is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under reference ZC212621.
You can reach us about anything on this page at privacy@rooplex.co.uk.
We do not use cookies, and nothing here tracks you
There is no Google Analytics on this site, no advertising pixel, and no third-party script of any kind. Nothing is stored in your browser unless you choose a dark or light theme, and that choice never leaves your device. That is why you were not asked to accept cookies.
We do count visits, so we know which pages are worth improving. To do that we work out a short code from your IP address and browser, mixed with a secret that changes every day. The code cannot be turned back into your address, and tomorrow the same visit produces a different code, so it cannot be used to recognise you from one day to the next. We keep the page you looked at, where you arrived from, your country, and whether you were on a phone or a computer. We do not keep your IP address.
If you make an account
If you sign up, we keep your email address, anything you choose to put in your profile, the searches you save and the notices you save. We use them to run the service and to send you the alerts you asked for, and for nothing else. Every alert email has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can delete your account yourself at any time. When you do, your account and everything in it goes.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Contact details published inside notices
Public buyers usually name a contact person in the notices they publish, and those notices are public documents. Where a buyer has published a name or an email address, it appears on that notice’s page here, as it does on the source site. We rely on legitimate interests to show it: it is already public, it is what makes a notice usable, and the alternative is a page that tells you about work you then cannot ask about.
We keep those details off search listings and out of anything downloadable, and we do not build them into a marketing list.
If your name or contact details appear on this site and you would rather they did not, email privacy@rooplex.co.uk with a link to the page. We will take them off, and we will keep a note of the request so they do not reappear the next time that notice is updated.
Companies House information
Where we link a buyer or a supplier to a registered company, that information comes from the public Companies House register. Details of company officers are public record and are published by Companies House, not by us.
Where your data is held, and for how long
Everything is stored on servers in the European Union. Visit counts are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Account data is kept while your account exists.
We use a small number of suppliers to run the service — hosting, email delivery, and card payments, which are handled entirely by Stripe so your card details never reach us.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@rooplex.co.uk and we will answer within one month.
If you think we have got something wrong, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first, so we can put it right.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top changes with it. This version applies to tenderatlas.co.uk.
